The seamless overlay of perfectly chaotic burbles of teal,
rapid movement yet slow paced enough to capture the continuum of shades displayed.
Deep in tone,
then purposefully brightened by the rays which almost instantly turn the surfacing water beads into golden droplets of pearls.
There are occasional roars and then as if by taking turns comes the quieted covering and uncovering of the pebbles at the sea shore.
Further out, the sky gathers around the sun according to its familial colours.
Tribes of orange and descendants of pale pink,
carefully obey its orders to separate the waters of the earth and that of the heavens.
The earth’s light relaxes into its setting.
Creation takes a moment to behold the live performance of God’s artistry
and is granted a moment to breathe.
In all the beauty displayed, the blessing is in that moment.
The search for space to clear the mind draws a sudden consciousness of the exchange between one’s lungs and God's gracious supply of air.
A moment to breathe is a blessed moment indeed.
